SwipeClean — Privacy Policy
===========================
Last updated 29 August 2026

SwipeClean helps you delete photos and videos from your device. This policy explains what the app collects and what it deliberately does not.

YOUR PHOTOS NEVER LEAVE YOUR DEVICE
The app reads your photo library only to show you your own photos and videos so you can decide what to keep. Nothing is uploaded, copied to a server, or shared with anyone. Deletions happen locally through iOS, which always asks you to confirm before anything is removed. We never see your photos, and we cannot recover them once deleted.

WHAT WE DO COLLECT
If you sign in with Apple, we store your Apple user identifier, and the name and email address Apple chooses to share with us. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email, we only ever receive the relay address. We also store whether you have purchased the unlock, and the transaction identifier Apple gives us for it.

WHY WE STORE IT
The account exists for one reason: so your one-time purchase follows you to a new device or a reinstall. It is not used for advertising or profiling.

PAYMENTS
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your card details. Apple sends us a signed receipt, which our server checks to confirm the purchase is genuine before unlocking the app.

WHO ELSE IS INVOLVED
Account data is stored with Supabase, which hosts our database on our behalf. Apple handles sign-in and payments. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking services in this app, and we do not sell or share your data.

DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT
You can permanently delete your account at any time from the app: open the mode screen, tap Account, then Delete account. This erases your profile and your purchase record from our database immediately and cannot be undone. Apple keeps its own record of the purchase, so you may be able to restore it later through the App Store.

CHILDREN
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

CHANGES
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here and the date above will change.
